1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use SUBCREWZ:

• Account information: Name, email address, company name, phone number, and role when you register
• Business data: Work orders, estimates, invoices, crew details, and compliance documents you upload
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, and browser/device information, plus the marketing source (such as the ad campaign or referral link) that brought you to our site
• Payment information: Processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store card numbers

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Platform
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, invoice delivery, compliance alerts)
• Respond to support requests
• Measure and improve our advertising, including understanding which ads lead to sign-ups
• Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent fraud
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, the advertising pixel described in Section 7 may share limited browsing data with Meta, which some state laws treat as "sharing" for targeted advertising. See Section 7 for how to opt out.

3. Sharing of Information

We may share your information with:

• Service providers: Hosting (Hostinger), transactional email (Resend), marketing email (Brevo), live chat (Tidio), payment processing (Stripe), and advertising measurement (Meta Platforms) — only as needed to operate the Platform
• Legal authorities: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of SUBCREWZ or others

4. Compliance Documents

Documents you upload (licenses, insurance certificates, certifications) are stored securely and shared only with parties you explicitly authorize through the Platform. We do not use these documents for any purpose other than providing the compliance tracking service.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure credential storage, and access controls. No system is completely secure — please use a strong, unique password and report any suspected unauthorized access to us immediately.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use the following cookies and similar technologies:

• Essential cookies: A session cookie keeps you logged in and remembers preferences such as language, and a cookie (subcrewz_consent, 12 months) remembers your cookie choices. The Platform cannot work without them. Stripe also sets cookies on the billing page to process payments and prevent fraud.
• Marketing attribution cookies (ours, Marketing category): When you arrive through an ad or link, we store the campaign source (subcrewz_utm, up to 30 days) and, if you came through a partner link, the partner referral code (subcrewz_ref, up to 90 days). We use these to attribute sign-ups and to pay partner commissions.
• Meta Pixel (third party, Marketing category): On our public marketing pages, sign-up pages and email confirmation page, we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. It sets cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc) and sends Meta information about your visit and actions, such as page views, ebook downloads and sign-ups, so we can measure and optimize our ads. The Pixel is not loaded inside the logged-in Platform.
• Live chat (Tidio, Functional category): Tidio sets its own cookies and storage to run the chat widget.

Your choices. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all optional cookies, reject them, or choose by category (Functional, Marketing). Optional cookies and scripts do not load until you accept them. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer; withdrawing deletes the related cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but blocking the session cookie will prevent you from logging in. You can opt out of Meta's ad personalization in your Facebook ad settings or at aboutads.info/choices. You can also email privacy@subcrewz.com to opt out of advertising use of your data.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)

9. Children's Privacy

SUBCREWZ is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
